MT-10; Troop, back type, main, 32-foot diameter, static line, steerable
The MT-10 uses the same harness, pack, deployment bag, riders and universal static line that the standard MC1-1D use, to upgrading to the MT-10 means a seamless transition for personnel.
Very low permeability air passes through the material PIA-C-44378 Type IV (0.5-3.0 CFM porosity) resulting in slower than normal rate of descent.
Softer landings are especially welcomed at high field elevations or with heavy payloads. It is capable of supporting 400 pounds. The MT-10 is limited to operation in winds of 13 knots at surface.
MC1-1B/C/D/E; Troop, back type, main, 35-foot diameter, static line, steerable
The MC1 series, MC1-1B/C/D/E, troop back personnel parachute provides capability to safely deliver an airborne soldier, and individual equipment, from an aircraft in flight, for a vertical assault on the enemy. The MC1 series maneuverable parachute assembly is used primarily for a premeditated jump when a precision landing in a small target area is necessary.

T-10B/C/D; Troop, back type, main, 35-foot diameter, static line, non-steerable
The T-10 series, T-10B/C/D, troop back personnel parachute provides capability to safely deliver an airborne soldier and individual equipment, from an aircraft in flight, for a vertical assault on an enemy. The T-10 extended skirt parachute was standardized by the US Government as a troop personnel parachute and has been used successfully since that time with relatively few modifications.
The T‐10R, MIRPS parachute is reserve type designed to be activated manually, by means of a ripcord, by the parachutist in the event the primary parachute malfunctions. Both parachute assemblies consist of a flat circular 24‐foot diameter canopy, and a pack assembly with ripcord.
